Branches that build up in your garden or yard require immediate action. Burning is the best way to get rid form the garden waste. Prior to the burning process preparation is required. Make sure that you can burn the garden branches around your premises, take a close look on the rules and regulation regarding to the burning. This is just because some areas are not allowed for the burning within the urban limits. Some city areas require burring permit. Burning process may be legal but it entirely depends upon the rules and regulation set by local authorities. In case you don’t follow the rules and laws you may face enquiry and result might be in shape of fine or punishment.
Before you burn your garden branches notify the nearby neighbors, that you will burn your garden branches.
If you feel that your place is not suitable for burning, look for other location where burning the branches is allowed. Find the place that is not directly contact with building area or not near by the trees so there is less chance of fire spread.
Where you are going to burn your garden mess, clear hay, dry grass or other flammable materials.
Verify the weather condition especially that wind is not blowing. There are strong chances that wind can carry away the burning pieces of branches and spread to other locations.
Setup and burning
Made proper arrangement of branches so that fire can easily burn all the branches. Make small loose paper balls and insert into the heap of branches which you compile up.
Light the loose papers balls that you inserted into the branches with help of lighter or match.
Separate coal that remains after burning of the branches and make sure you are safe while doing this task.
